yeah "Another Day" is pretty cheesy.....but the rest isn't. There is a bit of 'pop' on there but the songwriting is actually decent. Im starting to like Awake more though

drumming's always beast for DT though.....they lost me for the most part after Scenes.......Black Clouds was a good comeback though, Awake might be the best, Ima have to listen to both a few more times though, havent listened to DT in a while, I grew out of them mostly.

My favorite records probably came after Scenes, I thought Train of Thought and Octavarium were pretty damn good but I've never really gotten much into them other than a few spins occasionally

Octavarium blows
Train of Thought is really good too, but come on man, I dont see how Octavarium is better than Images/Words

I guess it's a personal preference, just hated the overall sound of Images & Words and I thought some of the playing on Octavarium was pretty good
But, back to Opeth, I think the title track is my favorite
