I dont listen to BTBAM much any more with all these new bands Im finding out about but whenever I go back and listen to a track I love the ambition. Easily the most capable and talented metalcore band in existence.

Oh, I find nothing wrong with modern prog, don't know where you got that. Metalcore isn't exactly my thing, but I'm open for most things. This just made me cringe at times.

Dude third track is the best because I said it. The drums are sweet and the vocals are actually good on that track when he does his clean vocals

understood. Again though, knowing that you don't like metalcore definitely would stop you from enjoying any of this though. As far as the vocals, I love them, I don't see why people hate the vocalist so much. I dont see how this vocalist would make somebody cringe but not Chuck Schuldiner (who I also love). I dunno. nah third track is worst. His clean vocals are always great on this for me, produced very well. The musicianship is the key thing to look for on this album, don't go into this looking for an emotional thrill ride (see Jane Doe) but more an experimental experience that you won't hear anywhere else
