For what it's worth, it sounds like Carr is day-to-day, which is probably the best-case scenario.
Really don't know why the Bengals didn't go after Ekeler this off-season. Sure, they won the game, but Mixon is cooked and a one-dimensional back. A better run game would take a lot of stress off of a hobbled Burrow.

Purdy is a legit starting QB and enough of an upgrade over Jimmy that I think, when healthy, he can take you to the promised land. This is probably the last good year to get there before it's time to start dealing out contracts and making cuts.

unless matt canada gets fired i'm thinking the steelers season is done. i'm not even sure kenny pickett and cj stroud were playing the same sport yesterday. legitimately one of the worst passing offenses i've ever seen from any team and i've been watching since 2007.

to sum up canada's incompetence in one play yesterday: it's 16-6 houston, midway through the third quarter, steelers ball, 4th & 1 just outside of field goal range. qb sneak? nah too obvious. kenny comes out in shotgun, four wide receivers. drop back pass. every receiver is running 10-20yds down the field not getting open. kenny takes a sack, twists his knee in the process, and is knocked out of the game.
