Are you referring to Crazyeightyeight or Red Handed Denial?

Red Handed Denial. Never heard anything by Crazyeightyeight.

Ah. Yeah, the first half of Redeemer wasn't doing much for me but they really redeemed themselves in the second half.

I'm checking out Crazyeightyeight right now though and 30 seconds into nitroglycerin I already like it more than anything I heard by Red Handed Denial.

Crazyeightyeight is fun. I like them a lot more than her other band.

not sure where else to post this, but whyyyy is it May and there's still no 2019 charts on this website???

You mean 2018 charts?
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.0
nah, like at this point last year you could click Charts and see the highest rated albums (thus far) for 2018. But we're almost half way thru the year and there's still no way to see those stats for 2019. I don't remember it ever taking this long

Ah. You got me. I didn't even realise the 2018 charts were up. This looks like a question for the meds thread.

I just read the last pages of a fantastic book while listening to Satellites. It was one of those incredible moments

What book was it?

Black Swan Green by David Mitchell. I'm totally fanboying this guy, his writing is just so damn good. His most famous book be Cloud Atlas, but honestly while that one is fantastic on the artistic side of things it's my least favorite atm. Loved it, but the other stuff of his that I read I loved more

Never read Cloud Atlas but I did watch the movie and it seemed interesting enough. I should probably go get that one.

Oh, Could Atlas (the book) is interesting! And it works best as a book imo, it's hard to translate something like that into a movie. It's a lesson in writing different perspectives and styles, too

The movie is great, but I haven’t checked the book. I’ve read Bone Clocks by Mitchell, which has an amazing first half and a disappointing second half.

Didn't read that one yet, but I'm looking forward to it. My favorite atm is The Thousand Autumns of Jakob de Zoet
