Damnnnnn I’d be devastated

I haven’t lent Music to people for years. I stopped when people would hand it back with cracks in the case, along with thumbprints and scratches on the disc.

@widow ouch glad I’m not the only one to deal with that kinda sting. My condolences.
Illmatic is another of my 5’s along with this album... It’s like losing a piece of your identity dude. I know the feels.

Saw them live yesterday...my first gig in half a year and after 4 ankle surgeries (spread across the last 2 years)...it was the best gig I've ever went to (along with the last TDEP gig in Cologne). Nearly fainted when the set was over because of exhaustion. Lex kissed my sweaty bald head and I fucking love Nick Sadler. Such a cool guy. Intro of Guest House nearly made me smash my head on the stage floor. Holy shit. Best 16 bucks ever spent!

Just saw them at roadburn. One of the most amazing sets ive ever seen. Didnt know how well it would translate on a huge stage but it was perfect. Alexis is one of the best frontmen ive witnessed in hundreds of shows. Sound was phenomenal. He ended the set stood on the monitors whipping himself with his own belt covered in blood and spit. Absolutely incredible

"He ended the set stood on the monitors whipping himself with his own belt covered in blood and spit." did the same in Brussels, apparently it's part of the show

Same in Hamburg. Dude is going all in at every show.
When Alex was taking off his shirt and belt, I was instantly reminded of the video where he showed his big ol weener to the audience and since I was first row my thoughts were like: "Oh boy, here we go again..."

Also, if Jay doesn't see them live in the next few years, I'll be personally offended. I'm serious.

"french kissing loads of guys"
I could see that going very wrong, especially in 2019 where long hugs are sexual assault

Yeah, I know. But I love live bands like this or Dillinger Escape Plan. It somehow gets me thinking "damn, this guy is going all in, I better step up my game here" and then I try to follow up and going wild which is so much fun. Do you guys know any other bands that bring that kind of energy on stage and just go completely nuts beyond any healthy reasoning?

@Eclipse You better believe its on my bucket list dude. I absolutely need to see them next time they hit Chicago. From how you described your experience, to all the other happy customers I see in this thread who have enjoyed their show... I’d be insane not to.
Oh... and if the show I go to is ANYTHING like that K Pit performance, god help those who stand close to me during Guest House. I’m gonna be bashing my skull in with Alexis’s disposed microphones.

Haha that's what I wanted to hear, Jay. I couldn't bear the thought of you missing out of them considering how much you love this album. That's just inhuman. That's why I would be personally pissed
