What an amazing album. Every song. That part in “morning bell” where it all bursts is unbelievable

the part where the drums kick in on optimistic make me go apeshit

It's up there, for me.

funny because on the occasions where I don't listen to it for a while, i will randomly think in my head "man, maybe Kid A isn't really that great and i've been overrating it all these years." then i'll listen to it again and by the time I get to the outro of The National Anthem i'm like "nope, this album is absolutely perfect."

Great album, but for some reason I never want to listen to it anymore, which is frustrating. And I did listen to it a decent amount back in the day, but not to a complete burn out level. Was my fav RH for years but now that goes to OKC.
I tend to listen to OKC, In Rainbows or The Bends when I’m in a Radiohead mood. Sometimes Hail to the Thief but less frequently.

I have that too, almost never come back to it anymore. Some career highlights and great songs though, Idioteque and Everything In Its Right Place come to mind.

Yeah I don't throw this on that often. I reckon it probably is their most difficult listen, along with The King of Limbs.

Yeah, same. OKCOMP and AMSP are better.

Grown off me slightly over the years, still incredible though.
In Limbo doesn't really do anything for me nowadays.

Yeah I don't jam this often, but when I do it is 5 kinda time
|

Why don’t you guys jam this album more?? How to Disappear, Optimistic, National Anthem, and Motion Picture Soundtrack get constant rotation from me.

Dunno, perhaps from a distance it doesn't seem like a smooth listen, till you're in it
