Took me a long time fully appreciate Celestial, it's a great album. It gets left in the dark because Oceanic and Panop are just too damn good

Panop, In the Absence and Wavering Radiant are all better than Celestial and Oceanic imo.

I'm done trying to pick Isis favorites. They all rule, only that Celestial rules just a tiny bit less.

Will always be Panopticon for me. In fact, it's my favorite album of all time, full stop.

I don't have a fav either, tbh. Depends on the mood

Panopticon all the way
though absence has the best closer for sure. The feels on that outro

That's a big call! Threshold of Transformation is one hell of a closer too
|
| |
Absence probs has the worst closer tbh - Threshold and Grinning Mouths are both top 5 Isis, and Gentle Time is an underrated gem

For me it's Grinning Mouths > Garden of Light > Threshold of Transformation > Gentle Time > Hym. First three are probably my favourite songs on their respective albums.

Yeah Panop is my fav ISIS as well. I won’t even try to pick a favorite closer. Too difficult.

For me it's either Threshold or Grinning Mouths. Garden of Light and Gentle Time come next. Hym is definitely my least fav closer, albeit a great song.

If we were arguing about which Neurosis closer is the best then I'd just say Cleanse and be done with it. But Isis? Nah, they're all perfect
