Best I can do is one song and four atmospheric tracks that accompany a graphic novel

On on hand it seems highly unlikely, on the other, they seem like the exact type of band to do some crazy shit like that.

Static Dress signed with Sumerian. Not sure I really like that...

Let’s just hope they still give them creative freedom. Sumerian has a lot of shitty bands but they’ve had some great ones too. Roman Candle and Poppy are with them, and they used to have Darkest Hour and even Dillinger Escape Plan. I could think of worse labels…

But how sick would it have been if they got something like Epitaph or Deathwish

Epitaph would've been the best but there's a lot of nostalgia behind that statement.

I was just singing the praises of the 2000s Deathwish catalog last week. Wasn't sure they were still around

I would fucking kill myself. The guitarwork is the biggest thing that separates these guys from your average scenecore bands… and Olli is a fantastic lyricist and can write a catchy hook in his sleep

Darkest Hour did one album (their worst) with that label and left right after citing too many cooks in the kitchen. Not thrilled.

I feel like they'd fit perfectly on Pure Noise or even Sharptone. Weird signing choice for sure. Hope it doesn't detract from the quality of the music.

I’m not worried. There’s absolutely no shot these guys would be this DIY from the jump, have a fucking song called “DEATH TO THE OVERGROUND” only to drag their feet and make something half assed now.

The great thing about these guys is that they’re already incredibly accessible for anyone that likes rock music. I’ve gotten like at least 10 people I know into them and a few of them are die hard at this point. Like, such.a.shame could absolutely get radio play, shit I think crying, Maybe, safeword, and clean could all get radio play.

New song rules and yeah hard agree on Pure Noise being a better fit for these guys especially in light of SeeYouSpaceCowboy breaking up.
