Cusp and Sorceress are both in the bottom five, but I think Cusp might be a little better. At least it sounds more like a sensical song from beginning to end.

What Opeth album do people think i should start with if i've only just found them?

I'm biased towards 'Still Life' because it was my first, but I do think it encapsulates much of their sound quite well, although many consider Blackwater to be their masterpiece. Their career has gone through stages though, so it sort of depends what you're into.

If you like more modern music and a more prog metal approach, definitely Ghost Reveries. My fave, as a late fan. Then is really cool to get all them different phases from osdm-dm-progmetal-progrock and how those different phases influenced all metal, and music in general. I did it more or less chronologically because the band is awesome and all albums are worthy.
