Passionate about music pal. It's a blessing and a curse

I feel that on a spiritual level, zak. I can't help but be a music elitist jerkass, but the best I can do is try to keep the jerkass part as dialed back as possible. Frankly, I'll probably never listen to this shit.

I really liked everything they did up to Sempiternal, then Fish joined and they became this. I thought Sempiternal was pretty good, but then they released this album and I just can't with this

Fish is what made the band imo. Although There Is A Hell was pretty good too.

Sempiternal has done burning but grown on me every year. It's easily a 4+ and in my top ten.

This release was fucking heartbreaking and it does kind of make me mad

So what exactly was everyone expecting when the band dropped Drown? Did that not tip you guys off?

I was expecting music I wouldn't like and got that, minus Run because that song is decent

That songs a hard 5 tho

If the whole album was Drown/ Throne quality it'd be like a 3.5-4 probably

Instead it's so boring. BMTH has never been that consistent but this one is pretty uneventful outside a few songs

xiLeadFeather, I 100% agree

The more you soak it, the more it grows on the listener

This isn't a bad album but wish they would return to the sound they had circa 2011-2014 or something.

I think it has been 9 days since I listened to this record, and I decided to go back to it last night.

The flow and beauty transmitted when this album is fully soaked...incomparable.

Best album of 2015, hands down

Such a great little record this is

Can't wait to see them this summer...gonna rock that place out.

Its just meh. I actually like Oh No and Throne, but this album just doesn't have very memorable tunes. Wasn't feeling it.
