hey at least having a more popular take doesn't get you called slurs, unless you consider "basic" a slur

i dont even know what a tosspot is but it sounds br*tish which would automatically classify it as a slur.

"What is the Cosmogramma discourse?"
I think it should be in the convo w Autechre, Boards, Aphex, etc as far as great "IDM"/Warp albums go. That was the album that made me finally dig into electronic music regularly and holds up well today

I hope I didn't come off like I don't respect SAW ):

Ye Cosmogramma is a stone cold classic, has aged impeccably
Jammed the vinyl very loud once on shrooms and it was fuckin transcendental. Felt like I was walking around inside the music. My house felt like a spaceship with a jazz band jammin in the corner

That sounds absolutely incredible lol. Definitely was my go to trip album many years ago

dw none of us felt disrespect there or dropped our own, hyp's just gotta mirthlessly keep those gates against fuck even knows who to warrant *his* foothold on said lousy dying music site
but yeah Cosmogramma is easily pantheon material, holds up just as well as those artists and kept the warp sound relevant for a whole new generation. come back to the backend of UTQC more often these days, but that's a comfy classic right there
finally dipped into the Alice Coltrane record Auntie's Harp samples from, which is also a straight heater praise be

Quiet is the most underrated FlyLo album in my book. The Nightcaller is easily one of his best songs. Well overdue for a jam of his discog again

johnny, where should i start with autechre i feel like i'd like them

Album Rating: 4.5
yeah am also overdue a proper flylo binge, never got to either of his discog bookends and want to see if LA in particular holds up better
venin, start with the waste paper basket and hit Oval, Vladislav Delay and Basic Channel instead

lol Venin, whatever order you choose to listen to them, for the first three your first listen will be your most enjoyable. Soak it up while you can. I feel like Autechre, at least early stuff has very low replay value.
Check this show, kinda cool vibes: https://youtu.be/pU7-yr70ntw?si=wIe6tS_596dmSY8O
Just discovered Vladislav Delay and he is fire

“ johnny, where should i start with autechre i feel like i'd like them”
hyp clearly hasn’t read this yet, as I expect his annoyance will collapse into a black hole and annihilate us all when it does. Amber is good, LP5 is better, start with both but don’t touch a single thing post LP5 until you’ve digested those two

lmfao
yeah LP5 or the very beginning are probs the best shouts if you're gonna go there
Riot in Lagos is a v based reference to name a yt channel after
