I mean, this is their most dated (good) album for sure but every song is still great and a handful (Fake Plastic Trees, Bullet Proof, Street Spirit) are as perfect as anything else they’ve ever done. I feel like anyone who likes any Radiohead should appreciate those, but I can see most of the rest not clicking with you if you’re not into pure alt rock; but if you are then there are a number of other tracks here that rank as classics. I could probably drop this to a 4.5 without it hurting too much but it’s been a fixture of my 5s forever and I have so much nostalgia for it that it’d feel wrong to do so.

I really dig Fake Plastic Trees/Street Spirit & yeah I'm not huge on alt. rock these days. I think any nostalgia that may have manifested inside of me must have been replaced by OKC & Kid A, at one time all of these records got plenty of time in my rotation.
I realise you guys are cool, just the 'eww, Radiohead went electronic & weird' brigade don't tend to be trustworthy when it comes to overall music taste. That doesn't apply here of course, I'm guessing you like most of their stuff?

I was checking the tracklist of Thief and noticed the second title of there there. (the boney king of nowhere). Is it because of this you don't love the album? X)

@dylan that's a pretty great top 10. Like seeing Seperator there. I've always felt that one doesn't get the love it deserves

@Deftone - surely he's named after that song, considering they're one of his favourite bands (feel free to correct me if I'm wrong Boney).
It's cool when you notice something like that, I've deciphered a few avatars in my time here, at first you have no clue what the av is & then you find it's album artwork by chance (elsewhere on the site) & think oh wait that's *insert users' av.

Indeed that is my namesake and indeed they are one of if not my very favorite band.

"at first you have no clue what the av is & then you find it's album artwork by chance" happening all the time. The one that came to my mind was wormrot - Dirge's cover lol (don't recall the user anymore)
Indeed one of my (dearest and oldest) faves too Boney, I just never noticed the secondary title tracks, much less related to your name, thought was as random as your av lolol (a spacecat flying in a burrito) X) cool&strange name btw

I recognise that artwork yeah, not sure why. User hefix has a Carnage album, that's the most recent one which springs to mind.
Do you guys still jam TKOL? I keep returning to it long after I've discarded half their material, which is somewhat surprising to me.

King of Limbs duh. Guessing not then, haha.

I’ve always liked how young they sound on this album. Their other albums are obviously more intellectual, but this one is full of youthful energy
