anyway yeah I'm not sure how the avg is so high for this. I've only heard this and Leprosy, and I prefer Leprosy, but still don't understand the obsession. feelin 3.5, maybe 4 in time

This is hands down the most overrated Death album. It’s their 6th best out of their 7 albums for me but that just goes to show how consistently amazing they really were cause this rips still.

Human?? TSOP and Symbolic were by far my favorite when I first got into Death and now Human is by far my favorite. ITP and Leprosy are my second most played.

If any Death album is overrated, it's TSoP imo. I couldn't really call any other Death album overrated.
This album, idk it's gone back and forth from a 4.5-5 for me, but never less. Tons of classic songs on here, but I didn't really like this album as much as some of their other stuff until I heard the remix. It's still like #4 for me, maybe tied with Leprosy for #3 (don't even know how to rank this band anymore besides ITP> Symbolic > ??). I'm not fond of the original production at all, especially since you miss out on most of DiGiorgio's bass.
I would suggest anyone who hasn't heard this completely ignore the original and go for that tbh. Better in every way.

Symbolic is my personal fave, maybe because it was the first I heard, don't know... I'm not going to argue with anyone who prefers ITP, this or Leprosy though.
