He was considered a "sexy man" at one point. I hope he stars in the new Nosferatu, ace.

Oh wow that looks nothing like him now. Granted it's not exactly a clear image what with the color manipulation but still, funny.

It's hard to tell, but you can kinda see the shoulder hair length. Does anyone remember the group Zwan? lol

They did that one tune and then fucked off. They really were the last spasm of that whole thing but it had long since been bludgeoned over the head

Gish was too much hair resulting in an overly cool album that's hard to connect to

The ideal amount of hair was Siamese. Mellon Collie was ok because some of the songs he wrote while he still had hair

Adore is ok because Billy was still suffering with 'phantom hair' condition, raising his hand to brush his fringe but then realising his hair was now deceased. This afforded the album an authentic feeling of loss and bereavement

After that album he lost all memory of his hair and thus his music was doomed to suck.

The same thing happened with Maynard from Tool

91-3? Oh, boy. Y'know it's partially true that grunge was the "in" and metal was the "out" then. If memory serves me best here I'd imagine It was something like this.. but I was 17 in 94' eh close enough.

1. Nevermind

2. In Utero

3. Siamese

4. Ten

5. Blood Sugar Sex Magik

Honorable mentions? Black LP/Vulgar/Dirt

Radiohead OK Computer

Air Talkie Walkie

UNKLE Psyence Fiction

Massive Attack Mezzanine

I had just discovered the wider world of "Alternative" the summer I graduated junior high. Mezzanine did and still does blow my fuckin' mind every time I listen to it
