For the most part the tracks here have conventional and simple structures of pop music, all it does is adding funny dreamy noises that tickle your ear. I think that's a good reason to not 5.0 this. But the music is well done so that's a good reason to enjoy it.

Having conventional and simple structures shouldn't be a negative trait I think. If it's done well the songs clearly do not need diddling and complex twists and turns. Like here.

This album is just so haunting. I spun it last week on a whim for the first time in a few months and immediately every song started lingering in my mind again. A true masterpiece.
