Mind-blowing show last Saturday. They kick off with two 20+ minute peaces and nail absolutely everything perfectly. The musicianship is just nuts, and the way the setlist ebbs and flows is just right. Incredible visuals also, which actually beg for larger stages, and the sound power and clarity are just a step above most. To be honest I wish I still did acid ocasionally, because this would have been a real experience, but somehow, it felt like a real trip all the same.

Yeah dude psychedelics at a death metal show might sound like a bad idea but I really wish I was tripping during that show, the show itself was already phenomenal but a lil cap and stem might’ve made it transcendent

I mean I was blasted on shrooms and k when I saw meshuggah ages ago and had the absolute time of my life on that front rail. I think it really depends on what your subconscious relationship with the music and the scene is - if it's love you'll have a good time wherever you are. I'd probably have an awful trip at hyperpop show etc
I still have a tab of 'cid I was saving for these guys until they cancelled their leg of the tour that was passing through here.

Ya you’re spot on with it… I just saw Deftones on shrooms and my god it was fucking incredible, I really wish they would’ve played more of the new record tho, I was tripping the first time I heard it and seeing some of those songs live on top of that would’ve been otherworldly
