Sly is absolutely maybe the most memorable here, but also the song I most want out of my head

Same but practice practice practice man. I took a six month break and tried picking it back up and I’m sloppy as fuck. Finally just got around to learning Post Boredom.

If I stop playing for even a couple weeks, my skills recede big time. Same goes for the gym.

I’ve always found if I took a break from drumming then usually when I pick the sticks back up, I’m actually better lol. Then it starts to go down the shitter

That’s how I am with hard video games lol

I’ll be making my way through bloodborne, hit a boss I can’t beat after 20 tries, quit for a month, and kick his ass my first try.

It´s because you probably still think about it, and your brain still does the job of improving your own skills. . . it´s a thing lol

'I have no background with the band and thus no frame of reference, I just thought that Post-Boredom and Sly were easily the most memorable.'

This makes sense as they're certainly the most instantly memorable, yet Sly in particular gets slightly irritating after a small handful of spins. Post-Boredom retains some lasting appeal for it's grooves, but is easily overtaken by many of the other cuts after repeated listening.

The sexsexsex slander continues to disappoint me, easily one of the better tracks here.

Also, timely reminder that 'The Whip' is incredible and elevates this record to another level, almost completely by itself.

I've listened to this a few times and I'm having trouble ascertaining exactly what makes the album radical
