i'd swap your tracks 1 and 8 around, and "here comes revenge" with maybe "confusion". still wouldn't be an amazing album, but it would be a lot more solid than the real thing.

sounds a little off with James' vocal delivery (no cracking teenage yelling lol), but it ain't bad!

i thought the song sounded almost weirdly like a tech death band with clean vocals, not sure why there's something proggy about it. voivod-ish or something. maybe i'm crazy when i hear instrumentation like this and these kinds of vocals that's what i think about. or maybe a rock band like Karnivool or something.
