"no one will reallt know what happened if anything"

I think it's not that hard to piece it together when you watch their interviews over the years and their statements during this era and post-disbandment.

I think it came down to different values and lifestyles, which is something that Ben has directly stated as well. They seem very far apart nowadays. Ben has always been a fairly conservative guy in disposition. He's straight edge, has kids and an animal farm and his only indulgence is coffee.

Greg used to be straight edge as well actually, but post-Ire Works he started doing hard drugs, had that whole mushroom episode which forced Ben to come out with a statement essentially saying how he does not want this kind of behavior associated with the band. He started dating pornstars and the like, and I think he really fell into that LA lifestyle and crowd. I don't think Ben enjoyed that.

Also not for nothing, but even though Greg is doing okay musically, he kind of looks like a shell of himself nowadays. He's lost a ton of weight and has very obviously had plastic surgery done on his face, he's looking more and more like Mickey Rourke. Dude honestly looks chopped.

maintaining his physique he had in his 20s and 30s (which was really good too) gets harder and harder as you enter your 40s i guess

Saw Greg with Better Lovers in April and his stage presence is still as good as it was in the Dillinger days

Tbf Ben was looking after who joined the band at 13 and also had to be the face and manage the band as a bussiness.

Wouldn't say Ben seems like a giant pussy, he seems very opinionated and principled, there's a difference.

I'm glad I've seen (and remember seeing) DEP four times way back in the day. They blew me away each and every time.

Limerent Death is one of their very best songs , along with Sunshine the Werewolf, Farewell Mona Lisa and When Good Dogs Do Bad Things.

Fuck it, it’s a 5. Listened about a half dozen times in a row last night. Finally came to the conclusion.

And to think I first rated this at a 4. For shame.

Hell yeah brotha. I think I’d actually call this possibly their most consistent, and it has some of their highest points/best songs to boot.
