I think the whole album is way underrated. Burden is maybe a little underwhelming but still good. The rest is just gravy

Hex Omega is the true underrated gem on an overlooked album! Those repetitions and variations in the ending minutes are so damn delicious oh my.

I think Burden's keyboard solo sold me on the whole hammond sound 10 whole years ago, when I heard the song by accident.

The Hammond Organ has always been my favourite keyboard instrument, probably followed by the Rhodes. Pure sonic sex imo, and it's so dynamic (as Michal Lapaj demonstrates in modern times)

YES! The reason I instantly loved ADHD was that Michal Lapaj's keys on ADHD were sooooooo good.

First time I saw Opeth I knew nothing about them, was at a festival and they immediately hooked me with Grand Conjuration. Hex Omega to close the set was unbelievable too.
Grand Conjuration
Face of Melinda
Lotus Eater
Masters Apprentices
Hex Omega
Was a good, varied set.

Nice man, wish I could. Just don’t have enough time to practice consistently.

I can play a lot of opeth but oddly enough the drumming on their dad prog stuff is a good bit more intricate overall and would take more time to memorize and reproduce
