The Motherload, t/t, Asleep in the Deep, Ember the City, Halloween and Diamond in the Witch House (for Scott Kelly). The rest are avg at best and they are the worst tracks Mastodon has ever done imho.

Swap t/t for the opener and maybe shrug off Diamond and hnng true yeah, meh album

The Motherload is so good, that and Ember City make the album.

The Motherload is kinda too straightforward to not wear thin after the hundred-ish listens I've given it but as a catchy rock song it's pretty much airtight

all about tread lightly, high road and halloween

Yes good tracks too. I'm a sucker for The Motherload, the lyrics mean a lot to me and what has and has been happening in my life. I only discovered this a few months ago too.

I fucking ADORE ‘Tread Lightly’… one of my favourite tracks (and at several points my ACTUAL favourite) from them, but unfortunately, a very patchy album with some excellent highlights.
