C'mon, what did you mean by retread? and Feral sounds like a HTTT filler? shit man, HTTT is piano-rock, the fray-esque bullshit. Your reasons might be plausible if you drew the comparison between Feral with Pulk/Pull.

Myxamatosis is on HTTT what you on about? Hardly devoid of electronic elements
I was more comparing quality and the ‘feel’ of songs though
Codex is Radiohead’s 30th slow/ballad-ish track by that point and it wouldn’t make a top 10 of the band’s best slow/ballad-ish tunes. That's undeniable
It’s not even as good as Pyramid Song which it sounds a hell of a lot like

Feral is kinda reminiscent of the Amnesiac b-side Fast Track due to the vocal samples, but that one's terrible while Feral actually sounds listenable. It's like they went back to that method to show how they'd do it now with more experience.

Yeah, it doesn't go anywhere, but I like it for what it's worth. Not one of the best on KOL for sure (but one of the most interesting sonically).

What I will concede - last four tracks on KoL flow all purrrrrty together

Feral is an "album" track. It's a neat little thing that is a serviceable interlude, not meant to be a track you go back to on its own I reckon.

Magpie and Little By Little aren't great, but Feral does it for me. Interestingly enough I often find myself loving those 'black sheep' tracks like In Limbo, Pulk/Pull, Backdrifts, Sulk, Burn The Witch etc.

"Fake Plastic Trees" live the other night was everything I could've wanted it to be and more

I imagine that would be a life changing experience. That song hits me harder than pretty much any other RH song

The only pre-OKC song they played when I saw them on Sunday was The Bends, which I was fine with cause they played a lot from OKC including Let Down, the #1 song I was hoping to see.

I honestly would have loved to see them play "Creep" because it's such a rare live treat... but they DID play my entire top 5 songs by them on Saturday night so it's not like I can complain.
1. "Fake Plastic Trees"
2. "How to Disappear Completely"
3. "No Surprises"
4. "There There"
5. "Exit Music (For a Film)"

In a way it's cool that you guys like this record so much, I know two people irl that think this is the best Radiohead album (not claiming that's anyone's view) & both have very questionable taste in music. I'm talking bland radio friendly indie/rock, or the most obvious 'classic' artists you can think of.
