Nah I really do find there are a lot of bands that took huge influence from Deathspell but nothing else has even come close.
Not sure if Heck is trolling saying nothing stands out as unique, not only is this band incredibly fresh, there are tons of bands that took influence from them and even copied elements of their style into their music. They are easily one of the most influential metal bands of the last 10 years.
Some bands that took inspiration from their sound: VI, Convulsing, Plebeian Grandstand, Serpent Column, Aosoth, Rites Of Thy Degringolade
