this fucking rocks hard. i was initially caught a little off guard by dave's change in vocals from killing is my business. maybe i'm the only one but thought he sounded pretty great on killing with some range and here he sounds more strained. not terrible but holds it back just a touch. took me a few jams to get adjusted. and the conjuring is a hard ass track but the vocal effects are an odd choice.
but anyways da riffz, solos all on point. songwriting as well improved. t/t has to be one of the best metal tracks of all time. wake up dead (that funk breakdown), good mourning/black friday (that intro), my last words (that speed) all incredible showcases. also this might be some of the best bass i've ever heard in any metal album. just a fun album.

btw jam the original masters of the first 3 albums, that's really important, should have mentioned. the remaster of rust is fine but only the original masters are acceptable for the first 3 LPs

yeah i checked beforehand, jammed the 2004 remaster. didn't sound too bad to my ears but i'm not a huge production guy unless it's egregious like st anger or some shit haha. not having og masters on spotify is annoying as hell.
