All I can think of when I see the album cover is that one episode of Courage the Cowardly Dog with that creepy ass floating head in Courage’s basement.

Thanks Ninja. Can you guys see it now? Lmao. My girlfriend says it looks like a bear’s skull? Told her she was crazy for not seeing the floating head from Courage. I guess that’s how bizarre the cover is. It’s completely open to interpretation.

don't know if I've ever had a song grow on me as much as The Reason They Hate Me has

yeah that song made me feel depressed and weird the first time I heard it. now it makes me feel excited and weird

That song is phenomenal, agreed.
The last 4 tracks are the best stretch of songs on the album. Give me those and Long Road + Satan in the Wait and I can pretty much do without the rest.

I just didn't vibe with it my first few listens of it, especially because the other two singles I immediately loved
definitely think it's context within the album immensely helped, it's perfectly placed

album started at a 3.5 for me, then 4 in November, then settled around 4.5-4.7 for me. It only grows

I wanted this to grow on me, but it never quite happened. There are some tracks that just aren't very good. I love it when it works though. Tracks 4-6 are almost throwaways for me, and the opener is just okay.

I watched their adult swim performance video about 20 times in a row which compelled me to listen to it again. And yeah... this 5 isn’t going anywhere.

That bass in "Satan in the Wait" still floors me.

Guest House might be the greatest song ever.

I’ll back that opinion

Satan and the bookends are the only songs I kept from this. Most of the middle didn't stand out to me, idk.
