i dont mind some pop, in fact i find lately its been getting a bit better in general, but there is still a ton of god fucking awful popular radio top 40 music

im liking the "anti-chorus" trend in pop right now, seeing songs fake out choruses with flat beat drops and what not is a pretty cool sound.

but yea 70s and 80s pop had some bangers, and wasn't afraid to experiment with stuff

I disagree hard there, because there were some damn fine years in that stretch of time. I will agree 2009-2012 was an absolute joke however.
