I mean... The title track on here is a all timer. And I always liked the sound of the album the In Between sound of the first 2 albums and the proggy stuff.. but it's kinda in that weird middle ground at the end of the day and doesn't fully excel at either of those sounds. Leprosy did the straight up death metal style better and human and the albums that came after it are just more refined and further developed in the technical proggy aspects....... Not to mention theres not many all timer death tracks here other than the title track.... Yeah id deff agree with the general consensus like literally EVERYWHERE lol it's bottom death. but still a high 3.5 low 4



yeah there's nothing done here that any other death album didn't do better in some way shape or form

Literally what you have here is a oddball transition bridge album.



A less heavy hard hitting leprosy that's not half as technically proficient as human symbolic or anything that came after it. If you want some straight up heavy osdm you put on leprosy or scream. If you want some prog tech death you out on human-sound.



Then you got this.. the "just give us a album we are working on it and will get there" working out the kinks bridge record. This isn't leprosy mixed with symbolic (as great as that would be) this is a work in process at the end of the day

This has some of the best death riffs and solos, better prod than leprosy or SBG, best Chuck vox overall, songwriting is miles ahead of leprosy & sbg and dealt with some relevant social shit.



Not everyone is gonna agree on everything. All jokes aside we are obviously all entitled to our opinions. For my money, this is probably best death, if not #2 behind human. You're allowed to disagree with that and it doesn't mean either of us are wrong.



We like taking the piss here talking about "wrong opinion this and that" etc but like I said we're all entitled to our preferences but I will absolutely die on the hill of this being top 2 DEA7TH
