I do like Siamese Dream to an extent. I wouldn't say it is grunge, but I also think the overall rating it gets on here is reasonable. It taps into the emotions and mind of the listener more than most albums I have encountered.

Nirvana's the most jammed of the 4 because everyone who doesn't live under a rock knows about them, but most into grunge (at least on the site) seem to think that AiC had the best grunge album.

I mean sure, SD is a hard alt-rock classic, but it ain't grunge.

Can't agree more with what you said. A girl I used to chill with a lot was into two things Black Metal and AiC. After I heard all of AiC's old stuff I couldn't compare them to Nirvana anymore.

Ten has a high avg, but only about 2600 votes or so. I guess what happens with PJ is that few manage to get into them because they're the odd ones out.

As for SG, they get scarce attention, but most who've checked them on the site seem to like them quite a bit. SUK actually ranks quite highly on this site.

SG is prob least jammed of the 4, but those who know about them, well, I'd be repeating myself.

"Interesting. But you didn't actually live the grunge heyday I believe.

I certainly didn't, and I kinda wish I did."

You shouldn't hahah. It was weird. I was a senior in highschool in 1995. The "grunge" scene came on like a tidal wave, and instead of it being something chill, it was suddenly everywhere. I remember when I was 13ish wearing my Slayer shirts, with a flannel vest (yeah boy) and torn up jeans and having people look at me backwards. By 1995 (and yes I was still dressing the same way) I was "trendy".

Of course, I still dress like that now hahaha. Still, it went from being something amazing, to something rather stupid, to something rather dead really quickly.

I dress in quite a grunge-oriented way as well, sans the flannel. I'm more of a leather jacket-kinda guy
