God it makes me wonder how they'd sound these days if Jona was still in the band. Don't think the hardcore elements stayed for long enough imo

The outro to It Never Ends is genuinely beautiful, wish they'd use those lush soundscapes more to their advantage.

Think that's why we were so disappointed with Semp Leb. haha They weren't used to full potential on that record.

Album Rating: 3.5
Agreed, they felt wimpy and had no real 'umph' to them.

Album Rating: 5.0
All they had to do was keep this sound but work more on that epic ambient shit.

To this day I still haven't heard a BMTH song that tops Crucify Me. House of Wolves came close, but no dice.

Album Rating: 3.4
Crucify Me is their best song and this is their best album

Album Rating: 4.5

Album Rating: 3.5
Definitely better than Semp as a whole

Semp was kind of similar in terms of inconsistency.
Sempiternal: House Of Wolves, Can You Feel My Heart, Empire, Hospital for Souls, And The Snakes Start To Sing, Deathbeds(It was a song on the EP and it was probably the best BMTH song so far, maybe next to Crucify Me or Hospital)
TIAHBMISITIAHLKIAS: Cruficy Me, It Never Ends, Fuck, Don't Go.
That's where I am so far in the album, haven't listened to them all in full. Alligator Blood is actually pretty cool though. And lol, that abbreviation was fun

nuh uh, this is far more consistent I think and it's a more interesting listen due to the more complex song structures
