"This was wonderful. Definitely prefer this over their debut. Also, I think this has the best use of silence on an album I have ever heard with the track Magic Window. The track and the silence in my opinion actually serve a purpose. Tracks like Providence from GY!BE and How the plains left me flat by Flotation Toy Warning are probably the only silence on a track I can think of where the silence seems totally meaningless. Magic Window on the other hand kind of felt like a track that gave me time to digest the album and reflect my thoughts within the window of time they gave you while still feeling like the track belongs."
Sounds nice, then you realise that BoC made Magic Window to make the album 66 minutes and 6 seconds long.

and, even then, the bonus track that's one of their best ever plays after that reprieve
so good

Haha, the 666 thing makes it better in my view, the other potential explanation appeared rather pretentious.

Love the bonus track yeah.

"Who is God? Well, it's an invisible person, and he
Lives up in heaven, up there. "
"God is somebody who rules the world. He's sort of like
A spirit, I guess, up in outer space. He kind of
Started all the plants growing, and he started people,
And well I guess he's kind of big and fat. "
"He can see us whatever we do, whatever we do, he has
Such powerful eyes, he has to have millions and
Thousands and billions, and he can still see us when
We're bad. "
"He could be sitting on the table right now, but you
Can't see him. "
"If he was a bad man, he would make everything bad, and
We wouldn't have electricity, he wouldn't make people,
That's what would happen if God wasn't nice. "
"... He's not though, what - a lot of people think he's
Just a feeling - but I think he's a real person. "
"Well, I think that God isn't a person, but he's up in
The heavens, and he's watching over us right now. "

ok this is super dramatic but i wanna share this...
a little while ago i had a really terrifying sleep paralysis episode, something thats never happened to me before. i was clearly having a rough dream or something, and started drifting into being awake from it... but when i went to turn over i couldn't move a muscle and felt extremely dissociated. everything was black and i started getting tunnel vision, felt the ground shaking violently. it felt like a super intense and unwelcomed k-hole, so this sorta sent me into a state of mild fear/confusion... my head was stuck facing a pillow on my bed, and out of the fear i started to vividly, and i mean vividly, hallucinate the most demonic looking child's face you could possibly imagine like 4 inches from me, looking straight at me. I couldnt even move my eyes to look around, and it was so damn real, even animated, and i just felt this awful and evil presence right where it was. it made me panic and freak out mentally which just gave me this feeling of being like a little kid in a dark basement or something times a thousand, like just total helplessness and fear. like damn i can still feel how my heart melted and felt freezing and i couldnt move my head at all. when i finally managed to jolt up and let it shake off, the first thing i noticed was this album was playing at a super low volume from my laptop on my desk across the room... i think that it played a role in the way that all played out even if i dont remember hearing anything, and in a very weird way I couldnt have fit a better album to it. i'm sure this whole thing was stress induced, plus i did take an ibuprofien PM which probably didnt help, but coming out of all that and hearing geogaddi synths just made sense. i just spent the last half hour a bit uneasy with a glass of water and finished the album lol

That's some intense experience, I've had sleep paralysis occurrences before but probably not as terrifying as this sounds. I guess this could change the way you hear this album now, hopefully not in a negative way.

It was very very creepy and I'll definitely feel some of those vibes from this album for awhile. I can still tap into that feeling just thinking about it. But it's fascinating

I've had sleep paralysis as well. I was about 4 years old on holiday, I woke up in the middle of the night alone in my room in the hotel snd couldn't move. I tried yelling but no sound came out and I felt like my mouth was being covered like in the matrix where Neo's mouth gets covered by agent smith. Then a silhouette appeared on the wall in front of me saying he was gonna "get me" and he kept repeating it over and over. Eventually I was shaking so much it woke my brother up who then went to get my parents and I kept pointing at the wall and tried mumbling "the bad man says he's gonna get me" to which my parents said "why aren't you speaking properly? there's no one there" and they thought I was having a seizure or mental disorder like you hear about some people waking up one day and losing the ability to talk. Eventually I just let out a massive scream that I'm sure woke up everyone in the hotel and that was that.

I've had times where I've woken up in the middle of the night unable to move or speak, but I've never seen anything when that happened. Kinda just a panicky feeling, but it has never lasted more than like 15-20 seconds. Don't know if you could really classify that as a sleep paralysis experience or not haha.

It's a crazy feeling that's for sure. Very happy I didn't start seeing shit because I would've freaked lol.
I've had paranormal experiences before (a lot when I was a kid), but not while I was sleeping/couldn't move or talk.

I’ve had that jump awake sensation thing a number of times. The quilt wraps around my leg on occasion and I have to shift it aside causing havoc to me sleep pattern. I have to go off work sick with stress. Signed off for 3 weeks at a time. My life is hell.
