Only thing I don't like about this album is I can never remember the long ass song titles lol

What's worse, really long song titles or albums with only one word song titles (Haste the Day's Coward, for example)? Too long and you can't remember the whole thing vs. too short and none are very memorable.

Long names are worst but UO usually aren't that bad with it. Something like that one Chariot album come to mind. Also because it all can't fit in the database.

yeah the first chariot album is brutal in that regard lmao

Yeah those Chariot track titles are definitely excessive. And then they went the complete opposite direction with Wars and Rumors of Wars. Personally, I prefer the former's approach. I'll take excessive over underwhelming.

One Wing's tracklist is brilliant. Wish more bands would do stuff like that

love the slight wonkiness and lack of quantization to the snare hits in the section about 1:45 into anyone can dig a hole. never really picked up on it til today but it makes that whole section feel much more uneasy, fuckin rules

There's footage of the full new album on YouTube, played live under the moniker "Locus Ultra". Hard to say with the poor audio quality, but most of the rest of the songs on the album sound much better than the singles imo. Much more riff focused and more reminiscent of their old sound.

@Pika I mean the quality is obviously subjective, but it's kind of hard to argue there aren't more riffs in Spinning in Place, Vultures, Cannibal, Devil, etc., compared to the singles (other than Generation No Surrender).

yes, but just because they now have PASSABLE riffs or drumming, as opposed to complete utter shite, doesn't mean underoath are back on track lmao

I didn't say they were "back on track" though. Just that the album songs sound better and more like their old stuff compared to the singles. Which again, quality aside, seems hard to argue against to me.
