But also, if I determined what music I listened to based on the moral quality of each lead singer, let’s be fucking real we can cross hundreds if not thousands of bands off the list. Another page has gone by doing everything to contort and justify listening to the art, rather than the art itself. Again, nobody really cares if you listen to Brand New, so why do the this whole pony show about it being okay because of x, y, z? I have had this account since I was 15 and I make no claim about being morally pure even with my listening habits, but I'm not out here saying it's okay for me to listen to Zeppelin or Kanye for any reason other than thinking the music slaps. I don't really listen to either anymore because my tastes change and, yeah, as I've grown up I've found myself having more a hardline with artists I choose to give my time to, but this again besides the point. People claim Jesse did his penance and changed, and we just had an article that illustrated he has not engaged with some very basic and rudimentary steps to completing this process.
