This is definitely a glow up for them and despite that I still think it’s terrible I genuinely mean that. This had lots of entertainment value and I had fun listening to it. Can’t say that about their old shit

I wouldn’t say they’re in their prime, but they’re pretty fucking close.

Waking the Fallen was their prime imo

i think creatively this is their best album by a mile but from a technical proficiency standpoint shadows's vocals kinda disqualify it being their prime

honestly I wouldn’t want that. I think Matt is perfect here. There was a post a bunch of pages back that had AI shads from 2008 singing over the Nobody instrumental and it just sounded off the whole time. I agree with the review that his aged and kind of duller vocals suit the album really well.

I’m just a sad metalcore boy at heart, that’s why waking the fallen is my favorite. Nostalgia was a huge factor in that too. My eighth grade mind was blown the first time I heard screamed vocals on Unholy Confessions

Beautiful Morning is my least favorite as well but still good enough to not skip over it. I get why anyone would though.

also, just scored VIP tickets for the Tampa show which includes a free $25 voucher and free VIP parking. Nothing important about me gentlemen, but sometimes, you just win.

Just posted my first Youtube video last night, which happened to be a review of this album. As I said in the discord chat, please excuse the lighting and lack of editing; I'm still trying to get used to all of this :]

obv it could using a little editing but that’s a solid review Koris. Helps that I agree with a lot of it.

Also, Nobody is slowing making its way to being my favorite track on the album. I still think Cosmic is the best, but man, I couldn’t agree more with this review on Nobody.

Not saying everyone has to try psychedelics and experience complete ego death to be be one of the cool kids, but Nobody really nails that concept extremely well.
