I had an interesting argument with a friend about comparing this to Aenima. He said Aenima has the best songs so its their best album, I said Lateralus is the best album as it has the best consistency. He said you shouldnt judge it based on the noise tracks as they arent songs. I said "If it doesnt matter, then why is is it on the record?"



I lvoe both, but the filler tracks on Aenima knock the score down for me.

Well, Ænima has it's title-track, Stinkfist, Third Eye, etc. so it has most of the greats, but I agree, this has much more consistency than Ænima
