"lyrics are a near 5, instrumentals are a 3"
that's like an a crow looked at me opinion
|
| |
Album Rating: 3.5
well A Crow's lyrics are beyond a 5 and the instrumentals range from a 4.5 (Ravens, My Chasm, Soria Moria) to a 3.

I prefer this to Crow because I like the way Sufjan phrases/explains things more metaphorically

Album Rating: 5.0
they are totally different things, but I love em equally. One is the master of imagery and metaphor, the other is the master of elegant, brutal, literal lyricism

i just prefer the writing style on A Crow Looked at Me. one of my favorite albums lyrically.
