i dunno, man. The riffs in "Into the Painted Grey" and the atmosphere of "Black Lake" bring me to a whole other world, just like all Agalloch.

Those are the two strongest tracks for me.

Yeah it is. If I had to choose a third, it would be The Watcher's Monolith, those solos on top of his whisper/rasp makes me want to cry.

Its prolly 3rd best I guess.

I prefer Ghosts of the Midnight Fires and To Drown, but it's dec I guess

Yeah, the first six songs are awesome

I've never really liked Ghosts too much tbh, that song sounds like they are ripping themselves off. The beginning sounds like a variation of The Melancholy Spirit. Black Lake is easily the best song off this and was my favourite song of 2010.

Black Lake is great, but Into the Painted Grey wins for me
