Saw em back in '10 before The Hunter was released and they were good!
It seems after they released that album they started sucking, mainly cos they were all p much 'Hunter only' sets.

at least when I saw them in 2012 and again earlier this year they were fine and I've also watched the Live at the Aragon DVD and they were great there so I don't know where all this "Mastodon are terrible live" garb is coming from!

Troy is painfully inconsistent, he'll nail his harsh vox in one song and completely butcher them in the next
Brent is brent, bill's growls are good though I wish he actually got to do some on records instead of just live
