I dunno, maybe it's just because Lars is so clear on it that it's more noticeable. Especially in songs like Blackened where the song demands for so much more, and there Lars is at the front holding back a really intense song. It just keeps taking me out of it.

only listened through once but so far it's pretty solid, tho quite a lot of mid tempo songs which is kinda lame. prob most similar to the black album, there are some load elements but they arent too bad



t/t, moth and spit out the bone are the only real thrashers on the record
