this track order seems cool, I'll give it a go sometime soon and tell you what I think!

63 listens in and I’m putting it as one of their best ever. It’s a long read and the vocal nuances are fantastic. Tool jumped off the “punchy” understandable message along time ago. Tracks on Lateralus, like Disposition and Reflection and Right in Two on 10000 days are the lifeblood of this record and instead of building up to these tracks you’re thrown straight into the deep end on this record. Cathartic and meditating. There’s no use in commenting on what you’ve already said... so they’ve taken that pass and pushed the brain cells straight in. This is not a surface messaged album. This is a subconscious pat on the buttocks to push those who can handle it? A lil further. You’re not getting this on one listen. It’s moved from that process. You’re getting this listen after listen in, and I for one? Am glad I gave it that air instead of looking at the band like it was meant to recreate the emotions I had for them when I was 14 and nu-Metal was all the rage.

I believe Disposition and Reflection and Right in Two are all better than anything on here

I'm still kind of surprised by all the high ratings this is getting. They've done so much better.

This feels like tea steeped from a tea bag that's been used twice before.

This album is more like, what if Reflection and Jambi had a baby?

Haha yeah man I don't know what this album does to me. It brings out the sourness apparently.

Something this review could point out is the nature in which the songs perfectly fit with their lryic's themes and intensity. The repetitiveness of invincible, is indeed, an undying break down. 7empest is also fiting to the lyrics chants of a tempest's persistence. Also a sort of metaphor for how this song is the most 'old tool' sounding song.
