It is a bit of a drone but it's beautiful and haunting throughout, I love the atmosphere on it. I think it might have been better on Hail To The Thief due to its more conventional style though.

i don't think it's meant to be seen as an interlude at all... it's the same length as most of the other songs, and it has lyrics its entire length. the only interludey song on here is Hunting Bears i think
