@Arcade listen to Alaska first, it seems to be the most popular/"definitive" (I use that word loosely) btbam sound. If you dig it try this album... from what I gather they've tried to tighten things up on here.

This is their best album by far imo

Actually TGM might be close but Swim to the Moon is pretty lame really

third eye blind dig ftw. I feel sometimes that mainstream music just isn't fun anymore like it used to be

not implying that 90's mainstream music wasn't largely unforgivably terrible, but still.

@Arcade if you want a pretty solid prog-metal record definitely go for it. The only thing is is that the album is fairly long and not a whole lot of the tracks are good to listen to outside of the album experience. I think there are only three or four that I jam regularly.

I really like a lot of 90's music. Pop punk and 90's alternative is like a bizarre guilty pleasure for me. In a world of Imagine Dragons and Lana Del Rey, I really don't mind when Blink 182 comes on the radio for some obscure reason lol

After about 15 listens I've come to the conclusion this is my least favorite album by them. The only songs I really enjoy on here are astral body, lay your ghosts and telos. I guess i'm not feeling it or the band grew off me a bit some of the "prog" stuff sounds ridiculously gimmicky on this album.

If you have the time to jam the entire album from front to back, it's pretty sweet. I'd rather jam TGM or TSC if I'm in the mood for some BTBAM though.

album is borderline bad. btbam seriously need to rethink their formula before they become a self-parody. on a side note i

cant believe this came out 2 years ago, theyre almost due for a new one

idk man i feel like they can keep making cool stuff if they drop a little pretense. issue is we don't know how possible that is

i def feel btbam have gone in a direction i'm not too fond of, even tho i still enjoy this kinda music a fair bit
