Eh, I think it's interesting to have conversations about what different genres came in to influence a band, but I think we can all agree that The Mantle has a very unique sound regardless and its tedious to tie it down to a genre.

I wish they'd just ended the album with Great Cold Death. That reprise of the intro is just a perfect wrap-up of the album and A Desolation Song just isn't as good as the rest. Also, that f-bomb really ruins the mood for me.
