Oh yeah, i am almost thinking about editing my message and erasing the "Duh!". But after i put it on my harddrive i erased that part of the song, so i have only the perfect album in rememberance :D
I think it still stands as one true masterpiece because it is groundbreaking for progressive Rock, coming out in 69 or what?! This changed everything!
@zakalve: Yeah, but Godspeed has some atmospheric feeling of being lost in it. Also in Burials music, just not as long. It feels there more cinematic and really adds often some claustrophobic or the feeling of being afraid and comes up smoothly as a squeezing piece to celebrate the next parts even more.
Here at King Crimson i have the impression it is absolutely random. Like some of the most prolific music students trying to play not in time and rhythm to pretend to be not technical badas*es and fail miserably in doing so.

anyway, i usually listen to my lp and cd way more. (i have both) Originally i fell in love like that with it and was honoring it in my biggest prog-obsession months for even its improvsection-purposes.
Even that section kind of grew on me just for being there. It is like a beautiful woman with a really big nose. It adds character :-) Still at times, i think: Why does she have this gigantic nose, otherwise she would look perfect!

It ends up beings the same thing with surgery. You know, with this surgery of deleting the improvsection i have now the most beautiful wife at home but keep still the same wife on the other side as this loving wife with a big nose and a great character, her being less of just an object. So i have the wife for purposes like showing off and going out with the kids ;-)
I dont want to say to do surgery but in this case since i still own her in her actual form it does justice for me :-)

not much bro, just the usual.
I dunno I actually like Providence quite a lot, it's definitely the weakest track on Red but that's only because the other 4 songs are so amazing.

Some albums are 5's despite their flaws, this is a classic (no pun intended) example.
