I find it pretty interesting that almost no one on Sputnik admits to liking Metalcore as an overall genre, and that Metalcore is so popular on Sputnik. When the "exceptions" start to make up half the genre for you, I think you can call yourself a fan.

hard to say cuz in metalcore you're usually either short lived and brilliant (botch) or start out with a bang then just get worse n worse (most mxc bands)

But yea I never considered myself to NOT be a fan of metalcore, it's pretty much the genre that got me into heavy music, even it was the not as good Sumerian/Rise bands
