listened to this again for the first time in a long time and fuck it rocks, and as for the older stuff with Dallas it's alright yeah, The Changing of Times grates on me with the programming stuff sounding real sloppy but otherwise is a decent record, definitely better than their new stuff

It always aged so much better than DTGL. That album was seminal, but for me the more time passed the less I want to listen to it. I don’t think dated is the right word. But I always felt this was a more focused effort of the same sound. I love both but if I had to pick one it’s certainly this

i wouldnt say dtgl feels dated but i def think they pushed their sound further forward here. you got shit like emergency broadcast which is proto disam but the rippers are tighter and faster, plus that closing combo goddamn
