This is the first of my "I'm being more liberal with my 5s bump" - is it one of my favourite albums? Yes. Does it belong in the top 10% of music, definitely yes.

10% assumes it's not a bell curve. I'd say like, 2% would be 5's, but then again for rating purposes almost no one is going to bother with the entire other 98%.

Of course but I'm cool with the other way of thinking because as you say it's not likely I'll be listening to loads of 1-2 rated stuff. If you end up listening to a balanced proportion of 5s & 1s you're doing it wrong.

I probably am. You know what's also weird? How my opinion on this, BM & CTS change almost every time I listen, not to the point where my ratings would be altered dramatically but maybe .5s here & there.
I used to swear BM was better, then I switched allegiances to this fairly recently & now I'm thinking of going back. It's a sliding scale of ratings & in that scenario I'm not sure what the 'correct' score is. I also think about this far too much. Again, weird :-)
