Also,at SOTU this year Trivium got the best crowd response and that should say alot considering the people that were there to see bands like Behemoth and Cannible Corpse. They actually had the crowd responding to every little thing they did and it was pretty awesome to see a couple thousand people givin them the horns and sh*t.

but then again, stating that my opinion doesnt matter to you when you take the time to say something about it, is definately a lie, and we all know, that lying is very bad.

No seriously. Your opinion means absolutely nothing to me. I just see gaping holes in you and your emetic little friends' arguments and enjoy arguing and/or pointing them out.

So I mean, I dont want to get into a meaningless argument on the internet.

You already did, before I even came into it.

but dont try to belittle my opinion on an internet message board.

Once more, I said nothing about your opinion, only the crappy and thoroughly illogical way you presented it. I don't give a shit whether or not you think this review was biased for rating it low.

, because its going to end up making us both look like fools.

Nah, just you.

You can't claim to have studied music and composition as long as you have and then tell me that that album isn't well put together. And if you can, you're clearly as biased as you're attempting to make out this reviewer. This Message Edited On 10.13.06

Really,2-3 people?Seton Hall Pirate Radio, the highest rating college radio station in the whole damn country,89.5 guess who is their #1 most requested artist right now,TRIVIUM.Jersey as a state is one of the best places for a rock band to play and some of the toughest fans live here and trust me,theres nothing but love for this band.

Now lets talk about europe, where currently Trivium is one of the top acts and hardest to get tickets.I guess those 2-3 people must be buying all those albums and tickets up for themselves.I guess the 40,000 people that went nuts for an unknown band at 10am in the morning at Download Festival were just an illusion?I guess it was also an illusion that they were co-headlining the biggest rock festival in the world the next year, right?

2-3 sure make alot of difference....

Yeah Christina has a great voice and typically has really good production for the songs Ive had the unfortuneate pleasure of listening to.But,Im a Metal fan,I wouldnt be caught dead listening to that trife garbage nor could I even relate to it.

Pop Music is for people inside the box that let the TV decide whats cool to wear and whats cool to listen to.As talented as someone might be,the fact that they actually put very little effort into their own music, make millions off of it,and then keep themselves in tabloids to gain publicity to make more money, just disgusts me.Its not the same as when a band gets big and theyve been sweating away in clubs for yrs before they even get big.

Trivium is a carbon copy of Metallica, just as Seether is a carbon copy of Nirvana.

the riffs are bland and unispiring, and i am saying for Seether as well, except Seether can be enjoyable to listen to

and as far as "this" board is considered, the only reason I started posting on here is because out of all the reviews Ive read so far(90% have been good)ShadowFallen's review seemed a little too harsh to me and a little bias at the same time so I felt the need to express my thoughts on here. After all, this is a msg board.

The fact is bands don't have to be good to be popular. Take for example someone we all hate her (probably), Ashlee Simpson. She has little to no talent and has screwed up time and time again (football game, SNL), yet somehow she's remarkably succesful. Trivium is the same sort of concept. I'm not sure what causes this. Perhaps they suck so much that they appear good to everyone with the exception of a few intellectual masterminds.

I'd rather listen to Seether than Trivium, personally. They're a lot less irritating.

What I don't like is how you just can't let the fact that people have a different taste than you go. I think that MOST people have stated that they don't like this album is because they don't like the MUSIC.

Not because they're getting famous.

Not because they're on a major label.

Because the music IS BORING.

Capice?

Also, modern A7X is quite bad, I have to admit, but there is some unbelievable guitarwork on the first two albums.

"any classical music beats the **** out of metal, especially Trivium"

Hmmmm......or you sure about that? And if you are,how exactly do you mean that?Do you mean classic rock?

so I expect you to name

Zepplin

Floyd

Skynyrd

etc,etc.

I already know the drill, youre the typical dude that listens to a station like K-ROCK and actually enjoys the fact that you hear the same crappy Red Hot Chili Peppers or New Linkin Park song 10xs a day and now you think you know something about music.Judging by your earlier comments, its pretty obvious that you are a casual music fan.
