Seriously, most of the riffs rule. The bridge / last chorus in "Sweet Amber" is amazing.

"Frantic" riff is pretty badass. Yeah, I mean, most of them have at least a part that is really good. Some songs just aren't developed as well as they should have been.

"some riffs on this are good"
lol they're all 0-3-5 and variations of.

I think that people hate this album because of the lack of guitar solos and I agree on this cause,S-T anger songs are way too much pop than the first 5 albums they put on the music market.Think whatever you want this is my opinion.

Hahaha. Not all though. Only about half of them use that as a main riff. They used multiple tunings so it still sounds different and that's all that matters.
S-T anger songs are way too much pop
Lol.

Great review, this is was such a letdown for me back in the days, i wanted so hard to like it, but as you said they keep getting people off due some major technical and composition issues.

the unnamed feeling is actually a really cool song. there are definitely some awesome moments on here, but they are very short-lived. i think i am quite forgiving of the poor composition as long as there are some chugging grooves and catchy riffs, which this album delivers at times.
i remember listening to this on headphones and actually being able to hear some pro tools edits, where you can actually hear the dodgy cut and paste job with the drums.

if they wanted a garage recording they should have recorded it in a garage not a multi million dollar studio and purposely make it sound like poop.
