Kevin Falk is so much better than people realize because he's not as show-y as Briggs.

btbam is all about show-y. and since when is a bassist supposed to just sit in a corner and play rhythm? let the man play.

Also, he's inaudible on this record. That has to count for something.

Shevanel just doesn't cut it for me. I find the lyrics along with Tommy's vocal style to be quite cheesy.

I found the guitars to be a little wanky, but they make it work.

i like the more raw, less noodly sound they have on here. i can listen to this and their s/t much more than i can listen to Alaska and Colors, which i can't stand
|

i'd say i'm on the opposite side. although i still like this album a bit. i really enjoy the solo in ad a diggle mut.
|

I think each of their albums is better than the last to be honest (excluding The Anatomy Of). Besides Mordecai and Ad A Dglgmut this one doesn't do as much for me as Alaska and Colors, though it still fucking rips.

finally bumped to a 5, this album is their most consistent with TGM.
