I think they did really well on this to cater to their established fanbase with a recognisable sound but at the same time also progressing their sound in new areas which in turn can lead to creating new fans. Can be a delicate balance but they did it well.

I think this is a good example of a band having more accessible tracks but not feeling like they are selling out whatsoever, nothing here is as "poppy" as All Candy which imo is a banger and still fits their style

atm this album is an improvement from TBABW but close to EB, and that's fine, I love it and it has room to grow on me

Anyone else get Dustin Kensrue vibes from the lead singers cleans?

^ Very much in the more 'hard rock', accessible areas

I was wondering when JJ would make an appearance. Surprised at only the 3.5 how you feelin

I like this a good bit but I definitely feel like it could've used a bit more aggression and chaos. Feels like this is too clean and tidy for me and I like my Greyhaven with a lil more grit. Still tho, some really big bangers on here. Technicolor Blues might be my fave ballad from these guys, and Burn A Miracle is pretty much my favorite GH song ever at this point.

"Band makes me think a bit of Moon Tooth at parts on this and I mean that in a really good way."

Agreed and agreed

I miss Moon Tooth. I hope they drop something soon. Havn't been very active since their tour well over a year back with Protest the Hero.

Same here. That tour ruled. Sounds like they've been working on a bunch of new stuff but I feel like the whole future of that band has been kind of up in the air since Nick came out of a coma. Fingers crossed. They would be a great bill with Greyhaven tbh

Just seen them in Portsmouth. Played first for 30 mins before even ‘68! Pff. They sounded great. Shame the crowd wasn’t there. I wanted more!

I feel like I've spent enough time now to say that I think this is probably their best album tbh.

I think this is my least favourite album but l still love it. EB and Bright/Beautiful just set such an absurdly high standard.

These guys just can’t do bad releases. And this one… I think it’s their best for me so far. Somewhere between 4.0 and 4.5, I’d give it a couple of more listens.

yeah this is awesome, not quite as good as empty black but better than beautiful world. still think if stereo grief had been a full length it would be their best album
